ABOUT THE BOOK
After ten years of documenting the snowboarding scene, photographer Daniel Blom now sums it up in Drifting Decade, a hardcover 240 page book portray- ing some of the most influential riders of the 21th scenery, on and off the mountain. Mixing documentary style images with crisp action and snapshots, this book presents the full spectrum of this subcultures ramifications includ- ing big mountain lines in Alaska, stadium contests in Germany to urban riding in Finland.
Daniel Blom is a editorial and advertising photographer hailing from north- ern Sweden, based in Stockholm. In Drifting Decade his images showcase a wide range of techniques and approaches, but always balanced with an honest and subtle touch.
